⚠️ This model requires the Polaris MG1 Unlock ECM Service to enable tuning. If not already unlocked with HP Tuners, you must ship your ECU and TCM to Pandemyk Performance (5942 Bluebush Rd, Monroe MI 48162) for unlock. Please allow 2 weeks from the time your ECU ARRIVES at our facility for unlock and bench flash on both ECU and TCM.
Pandemyk ECU Unlock & RTD Instructions
The Pandemyk Ranger 1500 Tune completely wakes up your machine with completely revised maps in both ECU and TCM. No more bogging down on a hill or in tough terrain. Plus completely different drive mode options to dial in whichever feel you like between pedal maps, power and engine braking changes in each mode.
We offer the following tune Levels:
Level 1 (Affliction) - Our entry level tune designed for stock machines with limiters increased, seatbelt limiter off, lower cooling fan temps, misfire off, nuisance codes removed, speedometer corrected for tire size, portals or tracks. Minimal changes to air-fuel or spark. 18 HP Gain
Level 2 (Viral) - Our most popular option designed for stock machines with no engine modifications, also pairs well with aftermarket exhaust. Includes all of Level 1 plus:
- +33 HP Gain on 93 Octane, 30 HP on 91 Octane Gasoline

Pandemyk exclusive switch on the fly power stages utilizing the stock drive mode selector switch that drastically changes shifting and feel
- Comfort Mode: Lower RPM shift points, smoother feel, reduced engine braking, increased torque, upshifts faster. Recommended for cruising or when you want lower RPM quiet operation. 1100 RPM Idle Speed
- Standard Mode: Factory feel with increased power and torque, factory feel engine braking and slightly higher shift points. Used for all around. 1200 RPM Idle Speed
- Sport Mode: Most aggressive mode, higher RPM shift points, aggressive throttle and power delivery, full torque boost and clutch pressure . Used to keep up with your RZR buddies on the trail. 1400 RPM Idle Speed
- Tow/Haul: Aggressive torque delivery, full clutch clamp force, highest upshift RPM allowable to simulate a Low Range Gear. Used for steep climbs, towing heavy loads or crawling over steep obstacles. 1300 RPM Idle Speed
- Snappy throttle response to get the wheels spinning and avoid transmission stalling
- Optimized spark tables based on customer fuel
- Optimized fueling tables to increase pwoer and reduce exhaust temps
- Refined VE and aircharge models based on customer exhaust
- Seatbelt limiter removed
- Two-Step brake throttle over-ride threshold increased with limp home disabled
- Reverse torque limit increased for application so you can back up a hill
- Increased driveline torque limits for safe trail use
- Refined starting maps for crisp cold crank starts down to -40F using quality fuel
- Increased Rev Limit to 8600 RPM
- Increased Speed Limiter to 110 mph (actual top speed may vary gearing and tire size. We typically see 86 MPH flat out.
- Refined decel fuel cutoff for more exhaust gurgle and drivability
- Adjusted misfire windows depending on exhaust configuration
- Corrected speedometer based on customer tire size and gear ratio
- Adjusted idle control parameters for more aggressive exhaust note per drive mode
- Different Idle Torque and Character based on Drive Mode with Torque Boost
- Different decel engine braking per drive mode
We offer 3 ways to get your tune:
- Bench Flash: Our lowest cost option - simply ship your ECU and TCM to our shop, we unlock, bench flash, test on our machine and ship back to you. Just plug and play. No wireless tuner required, however if you want to make changes or return your modules back to stock, you must ship in again or purchase RTD.
- RTD4 Wireless Tuner Bundle: This option is for those that want to be able to flash your machine back to stock, purchase different tunes or have the ability to perform diagnostics. Required if you want our diagnostic troubleshooting service. No need to send your ECU or TCM back in, simply flash with your smartphone using the TDN app from HP Tuners. Bench flash included along with RTD4 and ECU Adapter Cable - modules come back unlocked, bench flashed and ready to plug in and ride. RTD4 works on multiple vehicles with purchase of tune license for each vehicle. Comes with 6 credits licensed to your machine.
- MPVI4 Bundle: This advanced option is for those that want to be able to make their own tunes, flash our tune files, stock files, or have the ability to perform diagnostics using a laptop. Our most advanced tuning tool, and same device we use to develop our calibrations. No need to send your ECU or TCM back in, simply flash with your Windows Laptop HP Tuners VCM Suite Beta. Bench flash included along with MPVI4 and ECU Adapter Cable - modules come back unlocked, bench flashed and ready to plug in and ride. Includes 6 credits licensed to your machine.
